Which Scholarship Application would you like to complete? *

McAllaster Honors Scholarship: This scholarship program nurtures excellent students who are especially gifted to serve God and neighbor through the work of Christian learning and research. A 3.5 GPA is required for this scholarship.

Minimum 500-word Research Question for McAllaster Application *

As a potential McAllaster Scholar, you will produce scholarship, in the form of a senior research project. Projects vary by field but might include a written thesis, a portfolio, etc. If accepted as a McAllaster Scholar, what hypothetical topic could you envision choosing for your project, and why?
What contribution could your project make to the field? (biology, education, history, etc.)
How would conducting a project improve your knowledge and research skills, and help your ongoing development as a student of character and service?

The Almira Leadership Scholarship empowers incoming traditional freshman or transfer students to be leaders on campus. It is awarded to students who have past leadership experience and show a desire to continue to be servant leaders in their workplaces, churches, and homes.

The Almira Leadership Scholarship awards incoming students (traditional freshman or transfer) who have:

Had experience in leadership in their schools, communities, and/or churches
Desire to further their leadership development and experience at Greenville University

The Ish Smith Overcomer Scholarship recognizes that there are students deserving of recognition based on what they have been able to overcome in their lives. It is awarded to traditional freshman or transfer students who have shown an exceptional ability to deal with adversity and challenges in their lives. 

Your video submission must be at least 2 minutes but no more than three minutes and should include a brief introduction of yourself. (what is your name, where are you from?)

Please respond to the following prompt:

Greenville University students demonstrate perseverance toward accomplishing a long-term goal and triumph over adversity. They are diligent, show academic determination and aim to make a change. Above all, Greenville students value others and seek to serve those around them, always going the extra mile. They are individuals of high character, who believe that even small things can make a huge difference.

The Richard Stephens Character Scholarship acknowledges that an academic record isn’t the only factor in identifying future success at the university level. It is available to traditional freshman or transfer students who have shown evidence of character and service—values that are integral to the mission of GU.
