    Are you passionate about music and looking for an exciting way to get involved on campus? Do you want to be part of a dynamic and spirited community that performs at major university events? Look no further! We are thrilled to invite you to our Marching Panther Regiment (MPR) Experience Day.

    Event Details:

    • Date: November 6th & 7th
    • Time: Nov. 6st 6 p.m.- Check in
    • Location: Whitlock Building- Check in
    • Who Can Attend: All high school students interested in participating in marching band in college. Students of every major are welcome!

    What to Expect at the MPR Experience Day:

    • Meet the Directors and Current Members: Get to know the leaders of our program and hear firsthand from current band members about their experiences.
    • Rehearsal: Participate in Friday night rehearsal to prepare a short field show and get a taste of what it's like to be in the band.
    • Community: Have dinner and hang out with current band members
    • Check out the Dorms!: If you want to spend the night, we will have housing available in our dorms. It’s a great opportunity to get the full college experience. Students that do not wish to stay on campus should return Saturday (Nov. 8th) at 8 a.m.
    • Football Game: Perform with the Marching Panther Regiment at our November 8th football game both in the stands and on the field
    • Q&A Session: Have all your questions answered and find out how you can join this exciting group.

    As a campus guest, Greenville University (GU) requires you assume the same responsibilities for your actions as GU students have assumed. If you do not understand the statement or how it applies to you, please ask a member of the Admissions staff to assist you before you sign: I am aware that although GU has agreed to host me overnight, neither the Admissions Office nor any other office or personnel of GU  will be directly supervising me at all times during my stay on campus. Visiting students, like enrolled students, are responsible for their behavior and are expected to behave as adults within the expectations described below. I am aware participants in on-campus events are required to abide by Illinois state law and the rules and regulations of the student code of conduct which governs students enrolled at GU.

    Further, I understand the Admissions Office will consider any negative behavior during my campus visit when reviewing my application for admission. Any violation of the rules stated above or any damage to GU property may impact my application to GU.
